Warranty Coverage

This warranty is extended only to the original purchaser and is non-transferable. Proof of purchase (original invoice or order confirmation from AlterTrim.com) is required to validate any warranty claim.

What This Warranty Does NOT Cover

Normal wear and tear, misuse, lack of maintenance, accidents, and the following are not covered:

  • Road Hazards/Impact: Bending, cracking, or damage caused by impact with curbs, potholes, rocks, or collisions.
  • Improper Installation: Damage to wheel rims from incorrect mounting tools or improper tire installation.
  • Modification & Misuse: Use of non-approved spacers, hub rings, or use in off-road racing, drifting, or applications not intended for the product.
  • Chemical Damage & Improper Care: Corrosion, fading, or scratches caused by acidic wheel cleaners, abrasives, or high-pressure washing too close to the surface.
  • Natural Oxidation: Natural oxidation of uncoated polished aluminum lips (which requires regular manual maintenance).

Warranty Claim Process

  1. Contact & Documentation: Contact our customer service team at support@altrim.com. Provide your order number, clear photos or videos showing the damage, the wheel's backside batch number, and the overall installation view.
  2. Assessment & Authorization: Our technical team will review your submission. If the issue is confirmed to be covered under warranty, we will issue a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number.
  3. Resolution:
    • Upon confirmation, we will, at our discretion, either repair or replace the product with the same model.
    • If the exact model is discontinued or out of stock, we will work with you to upgrade to a comparable alternative. A price difference or pro-rated refund may apply.

Limitation of Liability

Under no circumstances shall AlterTrim.com or its affiliates be liable for any incidental, consequential, or indirect damages, including but not limited to loss of time, rental car costs, or personal injury arising from the inability to use the product. This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which vary by state or province.

Additional Notes:

  • Shipping Damage: Please inspect your package upon delivery. Shipping damage is not covered by this product warranty, but we will assist you in filing a claim with the carrier. Claims must be reported within 48 hours of delivery to support@altertrim.com.
  • Fitment Verification: While our product data is carefully compiled, we strongly recommend verifying that the wheel's bolt pattern, offset, and center bore are fully compatible with your specific vehicle using our "Fitment Guide" tool or by contacting us at support@altertrim.com before installation. Returns for incorrectly ordered items are subject to the Return Policy
